Library The students will be visiting the library on every week their books are due back on Thursdays.
Last week in PreK:
Last week we were learning about keeping our teeth and bodies healthy. The children learned about how germs spread by passing around a stuffed animal with glow powder on it. When they placed their hands under the black light their hands glowed. It took a couple times of washing their hands to get the powder off. They really thought it was cool. They also know now that they have different types of teeth. Incisors, canine, and molars were in the large mouth that they brought home. Please go over this with them. We also pretended to be a dentist by taking cavities {pieces of black foam paper} from the playdough teeth. They wanted to do this over and over again. Signs for this week are: ball, boy, bear, and butterfly.
