Parent Volunteers

Big Otter is so thankful for our parent volunteers.

We started a new Volunteer of the month in January.  We nominated Carlet Blake our PTO President as the first volunteer of the month.  Carlet has spent countless hours not only working with the PTO but also with the Yearbook and working in the office to keep things running smooth.  Carlet is married to Jonathan Blake and has three children who attend Big Otter Elementary.  She works at the school carnivals and several other activities. We would be hard pressed without her help.  Thank you Carlet for all you do!

Our Volunteer Librarian is Terri Horton.  Terri can be seen almost every Friday working in the Library.  It takes a lot of work to keep up with 270 kids checking books in and out of the library and getting them into the right locations.  Terri has one child who attends Big Otter Elementary.  Terri has been nominated as our volunteer of the month for February.  Thank you Terri for all you do for us!

Our March Volunteer of the month is Laura Jackson.  Laura has 3 children that attend Big Otter Elementary.  She works for Teachers every week preparing worksheets for the classes.  She also is in the Kitchen every week fixing fruit for the kids healthy snacks.  When we have afterschool fund events she is always there working too!  Thank you Laura for everything you do for Big Otter Braves!

Our April Volunteer of the month is Angie Walker.  Angie has one child that attends Big Otter.  Angie comes in every week before she goes to her paying job and makes work sheets for the Teachers and anything else that they need.  She also helps with afterschool events.  Thank you Angie for your much needed help!

Our May Volunteer of the month is Becky Woodrum.  Becky has two children that attend Big Otter.  Becky helps out in the office, helps Teachers, and also helps with afterschool events.  Thank you Becky for your much appreciated help!
